COSMIC BOWL - 2022 Artist – David Meyer Pencil etching with watercolor and pastel overlays 16” x 16” Limited Edition Giclee print, #6 of 10 290 GSM 100% cotton paper Heartwood Preserve is a 500-acre development/climate change public works project in Omaha, Nebraska. The project incorporates a series of sculpted earthen vessels, designed to display, and cleanse 170 acre-feet of stormwater, recharge aquifers and mitigate flooding. The largest vessel of them all, the Cosmic Bowl pays homage to the pothole prairies that once dotted the native landscape. To read more about the project, visit the projects at ms-la.com website. As ecological art forms, the vessels were captured in a series of drawings, including the Cosmic Bowl that is up for auction.

A note from Girls on the Run SWFL: AUCTION ENDS ON SUNDAY Aug 14 at 5.30PM. All auction proceeds will go directly to buying music, paying the conductor's salary, and renting rehearsal space. We are an all volunteer group with no salaried employees except the conductor. Thank you to all of the generous donors. We greatly appreciate you, and we wish you good luck with your bids!
